When Inlay Bends. Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

I have been engaged in another clean-up round, of materials, supplies and machinery from my old wood shop.  The end is now in sight! 
Out of a box, buried for years, emerged some inlay experiments, projects that never came to fruition.  I was trying to create a design for a drawer front which gave the illusion of inlay stringing bending in three dimensions.  It would have taken so much time and effort, that I came up with a different solution.  But the sample remains, and I feel is worth keeping.   Who knows?  Maybe something can still come of the experiment...
