I flew in late this afternoon to attend the Christmas party tomorrow night - here for 48 hours only - the return ticket was €122 so I decided it was a good investment. I met J for dinner - we worked together in Cairo and he’s been in Mexico for a while, and now London. So good to catch up! But we forgot a selfie! So cold in London tonight. Staying in a good Airbnb in West Wickham with easy access to Gatwick. A nice find!

Unfortunately I found out this afternoon that this company doesn’t have work for me in January after saying they probably would. Hmmm.. no one knows why..
