Happy returns

The travellers have returned safely after 9 and a half months of adventure in Central and South America.  

Deborah and I made up the Mum-welcome-to-snowy-England-party.  

After a two and a half hour journey and a 45 minute anticipatory wait at the gate, we were too busy chatting to spot them coming through the arrivals gate at Heathrow, and Sophia got a photo of us before we got a photo of them. 

Martin (who is in Luxembourg) made Ben's favourite, meatballs, for when he got home tonight, the cat has been kissed a million times and the dog is beside herself to see him.

Thank you so much to Deborah who drove us to Heathrow and back in rush hour.  I wouldn't have missed it for the world.  My heart is full.
