Temple of Pluto

A gas pressure reduction station, in active use from the sound (and slight smell of gas) Built in 1984 in Queen Street Gardens.

Finished Christmas cards and present ordering .. how well the deliveries will work given postal strikes it's hard to tell. Short walk around the streets coming back through the gardens. The ground is hard frozen, so it's not so slippery as it will be when it melts. There's one patch on the North side that catches a patch of sunshine at around noon, and this gleam on the temple roof, but otherwise the gardens (and a lot of buildings on the North side of George Street) are in shade all day.

Slightly warmer than yesterday - by the afternoon the frost feathers on our North facing windows had melted off and the condensation lifted. There was a light wind from the SW, and sunshine.
