Ice mono

We both feel that BBC weather has been exaggerating the temperatures recently. It’ll say minus 3 on the forecast, yet there will be no frost in sight. To check the claims, we put a little pot with some water in the bottom out on the window sill, and we have no end of wfh fun noting whether or not it’s frozen throughout the day. An excellent makeshift thermometer, but only if you’re interested in a very narrow range of temperatures. Today it finally froze! Here is the result. A perfect disk of ice held up here against the sky - very blue in the original. But it’s Monday. So mono it is!
