Ma Cameron's

A visit to Boots to get some pictures printed took me into town again today. The pavements are very slushy, though not too icy. Walking was possible, even if not very easy. Next to the curb it was difficult to step off the pavement without going ankle deep in slush, which I did on one occasion.

Away from the main roads there is a slush right across the street. There would be in this picture had I not cropped it out. It was sunny and dry today, which is an improvement. There is a cold night forecast, so everything will freeze.

The picture shows Ma Cameron's pub looking slightly festive. This is one of a couple of pubs claiming to be Aberdeen's oldest. It has been a hostelry ever since it was built.

The snug dates back 300 years. The customers in the snug have been coming there for many years and do not appear too welcoming to interlopers! At least that was the impression I got when I last ventured into the snug about 15 years ago!
