The Ice Rose

Another sunny day  but still very cold. The thermometer  read -2C at 2pm when I found this little rose flowering in my Mother's garden. 
The day passed quickly with a little light food shopping and various other jobs and admin for my Mum.. A leaking radiator  valve is a particular  concern of mine now. Fortunately, her long standing reliable heating engineer says he can call tomorrow. I do want to return to Winchester sometime tomorrow, but will the curse of Hotel California (you can check out but you never can leave) strike yet again, and delay me??
