on the cliffs

I had a really nice pleasant and satisfying day by myself at home.
I got stuck into some bigger jobs, clipped some of the hedges and got the mower out for the first time so that it looks like a garden again.
Our own swallows arrived today, and although it was a bit squally and changeable it was mostly bright and warm (ish).
Highlight of the day was a long skype call with my littlest grandson. He's two and a quarter now and has more of a grasp of what's going on. He chats to me now and includes me in his games and even gives the screen me big sloppy kisses! Can't wait to see him for real.
I finished it all off with a walk along the clifftop at Sandy Cove.
