Changing landscape

There are a number of fields around us dedicated to the production of Xmas trees. Lines of tress are left to grow while others are cut and sent to market. These line presumably give the others some protection from the wind so they reach markets in better condition.

In one field the trees left some time ago. It seems it is now time for their protectors to go.

Sad really but that's the economics of Xmas tree production.
