Sunflower Hearts

It was still treacherous on the estate today and despite the temperature at one point getting up to 5C, the ice on my paving near the garage hasn’t thawed, nor has the ice on the turning point on the road by my house. So birds getting their sunflower hearts had to be my blip. This afternoon I got a lift from G to the U3A photo group. I enjoyed looking at our photos from the photoshoot at Blickling, I love how we end up with such a variety of photos when all at the same place.

Covid Update
The weekly ONS infection survey of private households up to w/e 5th Dec showed increasing cases in most UK countries. There's an estimated 1 in 50 with the virus in England (up); 1 in 50 in Scotland (up); 1 in 55 in Wales (up); and 1 in 45 in NI (uncertain). A long Covid study has shown ‘impressive results’, it is based on a ‘gradual or paced increase’ in a patient’s physical activity.

The ONS provided a UK pandemic overview, saying over 500 million tests have been reported and more than 9 in 10 people over 12 have received at least two vaccinations. Unfortunately more than 150,000 have died. The peak per the ONS infection survey was 1 in 13 people with the virus in England in March 2022.
