Missed opportunity

We went to see the movie "I heard the Bells" this afternoon. We invited our mother to join us as we have taken in a movie together for years as part of the Holidays. She declined. A shame indeed as the movie had a lot to offer and lessons to learn. Beautiful poetry and music. Real life.
 Parts of it brought to mind the people of the Ukraine. Parts reminded me of people closer to me. We all enjoyed it.
All I'd like for this Christmas is for the world to go back to normal. I want to see people succeed in life, to be healthy and happy, to show a little love and live once again in Peace. I realize that is more than one stocking can probably hold but I'd be willing to share it all.
