Hay Making

Yesterday our paddock was mowed, this afternoon our neighbour and workers followed each other, first the raking, then the baling followed by the wrapper. Easy!
It’s been a busy day, getting ourselves organised for tomorrow.  Tomorrow morning we will drive down to Queenstown (a four hour trip)  to pick up our Townsville family who are flying in from Brisbane.  We filled up the car, the car and us got a shock.  The car because it is rarely filled to the top, and us for the cost , eck!
But before that,  tonight we’re off to a combined 50th birthday party of neighbours…..held in a tent in one of their paddocks.  We won’t make it a late night.
