Surprised!

I eackon the badger was as surprised to see us, as I was to see it out in the middle of the day. Michael said it probably had to get out to feed after such a cold spell, it was having difficulty digging in the still frozen ground, it didn't hang round for long once it saw us.
Extra is off the country road to get to a more main road, needless to say, I wasn't driving. This was after the rain last night & a bit of a thaw yesterday afternoon!
