The Flight before Christmas

Johanna, Luke, Ruby and Eric popped in on their way back from Cotswold Airport (fka RAF Kemble, where the Red Arrows used to be based).
They had been to 'The Flight before Christmas' and had the time of their lives. It was a retired British Airways Boeing 747, extended upper deck. There was check in, issue of tickets and passports, a security arch, which turned red when one grumpy grandad (not me) passed through. He was made to sing 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' as punishment for being grumpy HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
They met Mrs Claus, had the aircraft security briefing (a bit tongue in cheek I expect) before going into see the Elves. Children had to make their own Toy. The one in the photo is Eric's bear that he made into a pirate. They got a bag and a story book, pictured, spent time with Father Christmas (see Extra) and really loved it. It was about 1.5 hours and packed full of fun.
Wish I'd gone, but we have too much to prepare for Julia and the twins arriving tomorrow evening.
I have been to Kemble a few times, just about 3 months ago for the motorcycle rally (OGRI) and a few times to visit the AV8 cafe. Another extra from 2017,
