Walk along the rail trail

I went for a walk yesterday along the rail trail. When I first moved to this area in 2006 (2005? hard to remember), trains were still  running along the coast. That ended a few years later. Although there is a plan in the works to refurbish the tracks and run trains again- this time with walking and bicycle paths - the process hasn't gotten very far. The first leg has been built south of here, but I think it will be several years before they complete this end of it. Meanwhile, it's a bit of a rough walk, but very pretty, and I can see the potential for a great walking/biking area when it is completed.
