Batch cooking

Meals all now safely in the freezer for B while I'm away. I spent most of the day at the village hall, tea, coffee and mince pies for all to enjoy. A lovely couple of hours listening to people natter and enjoy each other's company. I was home for a couple more hours, sorting and packing ready for my journey southwards tomorrow. Another couple of hours at the village hall, more teas, coffees, mince pies and mulled wine for after the carol service in the church next door. I was quite tired when I got in, just ready to collapse in a chair. I'll finish my packing in the morning as I'm not making a really early start. I just ate a sandwich while watching Strictly. A pleasant way to end what has been an enjoyable day.
