Fading banksias

These banksia were looking a bit past it in a bunch of native flowers I bought three weeks ago. Being covid confined, I had to find a home based blip and with further decay, they became the subject.

Thank you for all of your well wishes in response to my coming down with covid. They were indeed very cheering and I'm pleased to say that today I was up and doing, being near symptom free. I'm sure I'd have had a worse time of it if I hadn't had the full course of vaccinations.
