More Frost

This day started as clear and almost as cold as yesterday at -10°C, but successively turned cloudier and "warmer" (-4°C) since then. 

The dreaded rain is due to start in the night. Red weather warnings for freezing rain and black ice have been issued all over Germany. 

We won't go out until it's all thawed. I will probably keep busy knitting more socks to give away at Christmas, and find uses for leftover sock wool by making little things like the wrist-warmers that I'll keep for myself.
