Taken, in haste, from the third floor of the car park at Buchanan Street Bus Station.

We were en route to the Royal Concert Hall, for the latest in the Naked Classics series. Paul Rissman presented an excellent illustrated talk on Wagner's "Ring", followed by a 70 minute performance by the RSNO of excerpts from the 16 hour work. I have never seen such a large orchestra on stage ... and some played off stage too. Some brass players came to the aid of the percussion section, playing anvils, such are the demands of this amazing piece of music.

Thoroughly enjoyed a night out, we deserved it.
