Rig Failure

30 seconds into the club's Christmas Cracker Pursuit race and my sail drops a couple of feet from the top of the mast. I had noticed the halyard outer braid was fraying recently and was planning to renew it for next season.  Ha well, I must admit it gave me an excuse for getting off the water early in the freezing conditions.
