Wild and crazy

I stopped to take some pictures in Brock Wood as I was dashing between Stenton and Dunbar today. Always a favourite spot.

However, the really special things about the wood today were the smell of the wild garlic and the sound of the birdsong. Didn't manage to capture either with the camera.

Gorgeous sunshine today, so we made the most of it. Andrew and George had their pals (who also happen to be brothers) home to play after school. Time in the park, then back to ours to play in the garden. Took them home, stopped for a quick chat with their mum and before we knew it they'd been playing on the Halls' new trampoline for another hour. Late bedtime, but at least they should sleep!
