All is well

I took the double-dose migraine preventive on Friday, decided not to wait till the 20th, and the headache is finally gone. Saturday Sue and I were able to deliver some groceries to her son Shawn, who had surgery on his arm Friday; and today we took a walk along Hawthorne Avenue to finish our gift-buying for the grandchildren (that's the photo, she has the gifts in her packpack). Now we're settling in for a nice long game of cribbage, listening to music. Ahhhh. It is wonderful when the head stops hurting. I feel like a whole human being again.
