Village carols

It was the Service of 9 Lessons and:Carols at the village church this evening. Conveniently, it didn't start until after the finish of the World Cup Final so I was able to see what must have been one of the best finals ever. The carols seemed apposite in that it was a bit of a case of switching from one Messi(ah) to the Messiah. It was a very good occasion with a guest choir and musicians giving excellent renditions of some Christmas classics.
