(352) Flaming Heck!

I went to get some logs from the shed today and discovered that the roof was damp on the inside. I replaced the entire roof about 18 months ago and the shed has been bone dry since then despite numerous downpours, high winds etc. However, with the prolonged period of low temperatures recently and an accumulation of snow/ice on the roof, I reckon that has led to moisture finding its way through some gaps in the pointing and between the coping blocks at the top of  the brick wall that the shed is built against. Quick fix today involved drying out some of the gaps with a blowtorch and then sealing up the gaps with silicone. The blowtorch was also used to dry out the worst of the dampness on the roof boards and, hopefully, won't be required again here.
