Snow persists

Mr D’s niece was visiting today with her husband. The snow had settled on the slope up to the house and their car didn’t make it up the drive, so they left it across the drive and walked up to the house. We caught up with all the family news, then had a very tasty dinner cooked by Mr D.
Today’s tea was peppermint, a flavour that I drink all year round.
