Top of the boiler...

...is the cowshed cats' favourite place, when it's not too hot and it's cold elsewhere, even though they do spend surprisingly much time outdoors even during the coldest days. They do have very thick fur, so they probably cope very well. The fur is not the only thing that's thick, as (per weighing by my mom) Kaapo weighs 6.8 kilograms! Quite a lot for a random-bred cat.

Temperature was 3-5 degrees below zero. Finally got snow chains installed on the small tractor. It's not a job to do in too cold weather, but in above zero temperatures either, as "dry" frost is easier on the fingers than wet weather.
