Saying Goodbye

Our hearts are broken.

Leia was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma back in April and was given 3-6 months to live. We are fortunate she exceeded that, but the past few months have been tough and today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have her put to sleep.

Ethan has such a special bond with her. He’s trying to be brave and he understands it was the kindest decision to make for her. But oh it’s hard for me to process,, never mind him.
