Dipper Standing in Gold

A walk along the River Gryonne today before a twice weekly swim in the Gouille. Thank goodness I am not a dipper, into that freezing cold stream so many times to seek out the larvae that is its food! Three more sacks of leaves to the recycling centre and now the garden is definitely put to bed for the winter. The cats helped of course!
