Christmas cake decoration

A dull day but warmer.

This morning we went to Southend, had a coffee and did some shopping. After lunch I did the housework.  Then my friend phoned, she is out of hospital but has to go back in the New Year for some tests, much relieved to be home and I'm so glad she is home and ok.
Took a few photos this afternoon and liked this one which has been on Christmas cakes for quite a few years!  Out this evening to friends for a preChristmas drinks and nibbles plus catching up:)
