Broken legged Nutcracker

Joanne knows that Marlane loves the Nutcrackers at Christmas so when she saw this one reduced in TK Maxx, because it had a broken leg, she snapped it up to give to her.
She also knows I used to work for 'Bodgit & Scarper' so thought I might be able to do something to stop it falling over.
Yes, true to my reputation I fashioned a bit of dowel, used for putting furniture together. Cut the end up so it would fit into the hole and then sprayed it gold before fitting it.
You can tell if you look closely, just don't look closely at it and it's fine!
