Full Flow over the Weir

Back in Cumbria.  All the different Tuesday Run groups ( some are fast and run for miles, some are slow and walk a few km)  met up today in Staveley  Community Centre for a Jacobs Join lunch.  I'd not met this term before moving to Cumbria. Its a bring and share meal. Do you use this phrase where you live?
Anyway, my fast walking group did about 7km around up and down the river Kent in Staveley and observed the large volumes of water travelling down the river before partaking in the feast of food. Shame I didn't have a proper camera with me to experiment with moving water effects that you cant do with a phone
