A miracle!

I was amazed when the sun rose and revealed a completely ice-free drive! The mini ice age had come to an end overnight, hastened by a brisk wind and temperature of +13 degrees C.
I had two important events to attend today. The first was the nativity play in the village church presented by the children of our local primary school. It was a delightful experience with the young folk playing their parts beautifully and the adults joining in the carol singing enthusiastically.
From the church I headed straight to the village hall to start setting up our Orchard Makers Group stall at the Dervaig Does Christmas Fair. My blip shows our completed stall ready to attract the customers. And lots of customers came through the doors to enjoy not only the variety of goods on sale but also the social buzz of conversation. Everyone was delighted with the evening, customers and stall holders alike, just like “the good old
days” pre-Covid.
