Lighting up

Today after work it was home to get changed and then a trip up to the Castle grounds to take a few shots of the Annual light display in the grounds of Lincoln Castle.. I took quite a few shots but was a little spoilt for choice but decided to go with this one of the arch which produced show every so often and the Crown court as a back drop looking lovely in purple . Back home and I watched a  stream of Lincolns game away at Southampton in the League cup after taking a very early lead Lincoln sadly got beat  2-1  but if VAR had been in action Southampton's 1st goal was offside and Lincoln should have had a penalty but the difference in class showed as Southampton missed 2 sitters of possible 3rd goals in the closing minutes
