Earlston by night

Another dead chicken today. It’s definitely been bled by some critter - neck ripped, but rest of the bird undamaged. So, after installing more vermin protection with Nick, I salvage legs and breasts for the freezer.

Then harvest sprouts for Kerry, greens for mum, and pack clothes for Angus. Next stop Earlston where, with the backdrop of the Christmas lights, I struggle with the ChargeplaceScotland charger.

First attempt seems to be going fine until the unit suddenly goes down, reporting all chargers out of action. A phone call, a reboot, another try. This time only the CCS and Chademo go out of action. I try again using the 43kW AC connection and …. success!

Kerry has made Mac’n’cheese, salad, and chips. I contribute a couple of bottles of Leffe Blonde. Comfort food and drink. Yummy.

We watch an episode of Cunk on Britain before bed.
