The Footbridge

The footbridge over the Taylor River is well-used…It is immediately downstream from the confluence with Doctor’s Creek. It’s hard to believe that the deck of the footbridge was under water during the floods of a few months ago. Only the railings were to be seen. With all the recent rain the grassed reserves are lush greens. Council contractors have recently cut down the very long grass along the. River berms and stop banks. That is a relief as as once the grasses dry off dogs are at risk of getting grass seeds in their coats and worse….. in their ears.
