Sad news.

8°C  -  15 mph SW Wind Speed  -  31 mph Gusts  -  Overcast  -  Light Showers.  Niece Fiona gave me sad news this afternoon.  She said she'd been with her friend V. since early this morning because her friend's daughter had just died unexpectedly  -  she was in her thirties.  I know V. very well and the news threw me.  The only blip I could think of was the postmark on today's Christmas card envelope  -  1st class posted on the 16th Dec.
