Lupin's Christmas Present

This is Lupin's favourite toy. She's had it for nearly three years, and she plays with it every day. She often bats the ball around the track, and she scratches the scratching pad in the middle pretty much every time she walks past it. Then, after three years of this treatment, the scratching pad finally came apart and she had fun chasing the cardboard bits all over the house. So today I bought her a replacement pad. She has decided that it is where she wants to sit now. So I guess the present was a success.
