Pond in Lickey Woods

We have my sister V staying for the weekend. This afternoon we did a local walk in Lickey Woods. The bluebells were looking quite nice, but haven't reached their peak yet.

Towards the end of the walk we passed this pond which I discovered and blipped last November. Back then it was looking rather bleak and eerie.

It felt much more welcoming in this afternoon's pleasant sunshine.
