Give Peace A Chance

40 years ago, this month, John Lennon and Yoko Ono had their second bed-in, this time in Montreal. I'm presently staying in the same hotel, The Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The rooms they used were #1738 and #1742. (We're in 2006, not the year, the room #).

This bed-in was originally scheduled to be held in the Bahamas (after being refused in New York because of John's criminal record), at The Sheraton. But after only one night, they moved to Montreal because of the heat.

Yoko has a memorial kind of show going on at The Musée des Beaux-Arts, totally free, to commemorate the event.
