Tree Up

I nipped down Halifax this morning to collect a parcel, post some letters and buy some leeks. The place was very busy with queues for the main car parks. As usual, I parked on the outskirts of town and walked in. 

This afternoon I brought the Christmas tree in from the garage and put on the lights and decorations. I don't know if the chocolate ones will survive until twelfth night but there was one in the box without a string attached which was just crying out to be eaten.

A close member of the family has tested positive for Covid today so we have had to adjust our plans for tomorrow evening and Boxing Day.
