Javelin at Saint Pancras

This is a Javelin train of the South Eastern High Speed Service, waiting to leave Saint Pancras.

Hitachi built 29 six-coach Class 395 Shinkansen-derived high speed trains for these services that run over the High Speed Route to the Channel Tunnel as far as Ashford.

They performed sterling service running a shuttle service to Stratford International during the 2012 Olympics. They are named after famous British athletes.
