365 + 87: The King's Inner Hall

   Visitors had the opportunity to meet the monarch in this room. Access to the king was tightly controlled -  it was a great honour

   Above the fireplace you can see the Royal Arms Of Scotland. The king's chambers are unfurnished, as they would have been after King James V's death.
