Brussels Sprouts

Controversial Veg.  You either love them or you hate them.
As for me, I love them. They are a traditional part of Christmas Dinner.

Their history can be traced back to Roman Times. They do in fact get their names from being grown in the environs of the Belgian capital.

The biggest producers are the Netherlands and the UK. Both countries produce about 80,000 tons per annum.
I also discovered that it is wise to avoid eating many if you are on Warfarin for anti blood clotting.
