Substitutes

Ordered spray carnations with my supermarket order, but they sent lilies instead! A good choice of substitute!

Jacqui came for coffee and mince pies (made first thing, and still warm) this morning, and we sat in from of the fire  and put the world to rights. MrM nipped in to Berwick this afternoon for a few last-minute goodies, and I stayed in to wait for a parcel. I'd sent a Christmas gift back whence it came as it had a couple of faults, and the company were extremely helpful and promised to send a replacement to arrive before Christmas. And so it did! Once said parcel had arrived, I walked up to collect another one from the local drop-off point.

A relaxing evening in front of the TV. We'd intended to view something on catch-up, but MrM stumbled across a programme about 'Allo 'Allo, so we watched that instead. We'd forgotten how funny it was!
