Mistress Talpa's roots

This morning we headed off to Peterhead to put a Christmas wreath on Mistress Talpa's family grave.
This is the pier at the old fishing village of Buchanhaven. It was Mistress Talpa's playground when she was young. She never learned to swim and it is a miracle that she is still with us! Best viewed large for maximum fear factor.
Extra. The people of Buchanhaven must be very rich indeed - they feed the seagulls on scallops!
