Bee-eater

The bee-eaters are back in town (well, Cyprus) and I am determined as ever to get a half decent photo of them, as they are such beautiful birds. I sat on the terrace for half an hour this evening, doing my best to at least put the camera on the right setting (really must read that manual soon), but this was the best I could do. I'm not pleased with it at all but at least you get a sort of idea of their wonderful coloured wings. I will persevere, and will hopefully bring you a clearer bee-eater blip soon. I might even try to find the tripod... I'm sure there's one kicking around the house somewhere.
