until next year

I didn't take this photo (I'm in it on the left) but I hope that won't be held against me just this once. 

My last day at work in 2022 as the cafe is now closed until January 4th. Abbey took this before we opened to customers this morning - most of the Front of House and Kitchen staff, trainees and volunteers (a few are hiding behind the others!). No Christmas lunches today and it was quieter than it has been all week. I was on the till all day.

Towards the end of the afternoon, we took down all the Christmas decorations, which felt odd because we haven't even had Christmas yet. A little sad to say goodbye to my colleagues, but I'm looking forward to working with them all again in 2023 :-)
