Snowing at the Golden Bridge to Inverness Campus this morning. Arriving at work at ridiculous o'clock, meant missing all the later hassle as the snow became much heavier, causing all manner of travel issues. Work closed up at 14:00, as the rapidly falling temperatures meant there'd be problems for many returning home, especially those from far flung places.

Having seen the forecast, it's the bus all week for me, or it would have been, if this afternoon's and evening's had turned up. After a third one failed to appear, I gave up waiting in the cold and walked the whole way home. With a detour to Aldi earlier, that was about ten miles. At least I'd started to thaw out after the first five miles, and was warm upon reaching home.
