Abandonment

Not a technically great shot, and not my choice of a blip either tbh! But my OH was taken with this one, so he won out...

A wander around Gosford estate this afternoon, and we chose a different path. Lots of lovely pics of trees and blossom taken, as the air was full of the smell of spring and new growth.

We came across a couple of abandoned estate cottages, and despite being well into a state of disrepair (collapsed ceilings etc) when we looked through one of the windows, this room had a sense of recent occupation - especially the ledge and table. It looks as it someone had a last supper before departing forever...

I'm kinda glad we were there in daylight...
