Snow on the rooftops

A crazy day of weather. When I put the hummer feeder out this morning, I could hear the ice pellets landing on the snow. We got another few centimetres overnight. Then the freezing rain changed to snow, then back to freezing rain, then just rain...never a dull moment. It has warmed up quite a bit, with heavy rain now in the forecast, so we'll see what the next weather adventure is! G got the snowblower out again and cleared the driveway and paths, and the road was plowed this afternoon. No plans to go anywhere though. We talked to Renata and the girls, lots of ice there on roads and sidewalks. Bridges closed and some roads on the mainland closed too, and people are still being told to avoid travelling unless absolutely necessary. Hope things start to improve over there too with the heavy rain.
I had a good catchup call with my cousin and fellow blipper DoogieVanIsle. Lots of snow and ice over where they live on Vancouver Island and rain on the way. Hope to get a visit in with him and Impy sometime soon.
Extras: snow in the garden; snow on branches.
I took all the photos around 8:30 this morning, again using the monochrome setting on the camera.
